Brief History...
The Cornerstones is a large Victorian building elegantly presented both inside and out, with great care taken to retaining the character of its age.
Built in 1872 by Sir William Cunliff Brooks, Lord of the Manor and son of Samuel Brooks. He became MP for Altrincham and Sale (1886-92). His many benefactions to Sale include the fountain on Ashton Lane, and Brooks's Institute on Carrington Lane
Renovation...
When Anthony and Dorothy purchased the building it was in somewhat of a derelict state.
The previous owners had emigrated and left the house to slowly fall by the wayside, becoming home to a roost of pigeons nesting on two floors.
However they spotted it's potential and after alot of hard work and perseverance, have managed to restore this wonderful house, back to it's original glory.

Each of the 9 bedrooms having been individually decorated to a very high standard.
Creating a comfortable tranquil and homely atmosphere.
